Acaricides are the chemical substances that are used to kill arachnids mainly ticks and mites. Most commonly used arachnids include organophosphates, chlorinated organic compounds, arsenical, synthetic pyrethroids, and carbamates. The increase in the infestation from ticks, mites, and pests are causing health hazards to human which leads to a rise in disease burden. These acaricides can control the ticks on livestock and agricultural pests. These can be applied by various methods such as spray, dipping vat, and a host of applications. Acaricides are also used in animal husbandry to prevent mange, scab, demodicosis, and scabies caused by mites and ticks. Tick and mite-borne infections are controlled with acaricides, which are chemical chemicals. To defend against mite infestation, these are widely employed in agriculture and animal husbandry, industries, and households. One of the primary drivers of the market is the rise in mite infestation in agricultural fields and urban homes, whereas government restrictions on acaricide registration and the adverse effects of acaricides on human health are the primary restraints.
