Malaria Testing Market size was valued at USD 833.2 million in 2023 and is poised to grow at a CAGR of 5.1% from 2024-2030. Malaria is a deadly mosquito-borne parasitic disease caused by a parasite species called Plasmodium. Human malaria causes symptoms that typically include fever, fatigue, vomiting, and headaches and if left untreated may cause death. According to UNICEF 200 million new malaria cases are reported globally each year. Approximately 600,000 deaths occur due to malaria each year and over half of the deaths are from Niger, Congo, Tanzania, and Nigeria. It’s one of the leading causes of child mortality.
